ActivateWindow window
Parameters
| window - handle of the window to bring to the front |
Description
|
Brings a GUI window to the front and gives it focus. Makes the window the active foreground window: keyboard input goes to it and its title bar is drawn highlighted. In a tool with more than one window - say a main editor plus a floating output window - this is how you pop the right one forward, for example jumping to the output window when a build error appears. The window is shown at its normal size first, so a minimized (or maximized) window is restored in the process. Becoming active posts a window-activate event ($804) through the shared event queue with EventSource set to the window handle. For the surrounding shape of a real tool, the world editor shell sample builds a complete editor window you can start from. Requires Extended mode.
