JoyCount ( )

Parameters

No parameters.

Description

Returns the number of connected controllers. Slots may contain gaps; enumerate 0 to JoyPorts()-1 and test JoyConnected, rather than using JoyCount as the highest port.

Supported on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and web, subject to device and platform capabilities. Input requires application focus; device presence and names remain queryable in the background.
