cool flash game going to become a PS3 game
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/cool flash game going to become a PS3 game
that is the most addictive game i've ever seen...astonishing o_o
thanks for posting
Oh wow, I was wondering why fl0w hadn't evolved for a while... cuz they're tied up with Sony contracts. Good on them...
This game is pretty awesome, it sure is addicting... I played until I got to the second stage, where you get to play as an entirely different species:
May i ask what's so cool about this game beside a somehow flash typical look?
I played it for several times but it was never fun to me...
I've had a few people say this to me, but I'm not really sure how to explain it. I guess some people are less interested in flashy graphics and gameplay that hasn't evolved since 1995...
Yeah... the looks aren't what is it about. However. At the same time. It isn't a game, as there is no way to lose and no way to win. It is more a simulation.
Some people just don't like simulations, regardless of how fun.
I thought it was awesome.
It was fun for a while, but it got boring after ten minutes.
@DampeS8N: why must a game have winning or losing conditions?
Most adventure games have no real way of dying, although you progress in a story.
Most highscore games have no real way of winning, you just try to amass the highest amount of points you can.
Actually you can win, if you kill the creature at the lowest level of the ocean - you progress to the next stage in the form of a different creature and go on to do it all over again - except the second stage didn't have an end last time I played, because the game is unfinished.
Why would sony want to turn this into a game? It would be cool as one of them arcade games, but a full game? Theres just not enough to do in it.
I found it boring.
Yeah, it's fun. But it's not $60 fun - just yet. And simply
adding another dimension to the visuals won't do it either.
I'm curious to see what they do with this.
It will maybe not be that expensive:
The enhanced version of flOw is nearly complete, Mr. Hight says, and is scheduled for release in December. Sony won't reveal its price, but a launch title for the PS3's download service -- "Blast Factor" -- sells for $7.99.
i liked it, its like 'worm' with plankton, but with enemies, powerups and you cant eat yourself :)
simple sweet and original
@ Foppy: Ah that's much better.
