Poor old microsoft (2)

Now Vista won't be released until January. MS is losing the crucial Christmas shopping market.

I wonder if this will cause any headaches for companies releasing PC games for the Christmas shopping market. Will they be able to ensure that these games are fully Vista compatible before Vista has even been released?

The real question is will they even care? Game companies will release games that won't even run out-of-the-box on existing operating systems. I seriously doubt they care about make-believe ones.

Making them run on Vista is no Problem.
Its even less painfull than on XP where now about 6 versions of DX 9.0c exist (latest is february 2006).
Its only the speed optimation that will be needed to make them run usefully ... on 5308, their speed is lower than on XP. (this might be related to beta only graphic drivers as well :))

They should release Win98 on budget.
