OK, This Time 3Impact Is My Tool Of Destruction...

... my latest perpixel bumpmapping attempt,

what else, subs of course :)

just experimenting a lil...

now, if anyone canpoint me in the direction of a lil water... a small lake would do nicely :)

very nice... I'd like to learn a bit about bump mapping as well.. so to apply it to my project

Beautiful, a sub in desert. What is this? A desert sub simulation? Beduins on subs ;)

Nice.

try it with this skybox instead:

Rogue Vector

It's the magic flying sub!

It's a zeppelin.

Sometimes I wonder about your sanity, Mike.

thanks for the horizon Rogue, but i'm just using an existing app written in 3Impact to test the sub mesh and the bumpmapping effect... really don't have time to embellish the scene.

if i decide to use 3Impact, i will have to write up a ocean class with waves and ocean plane that would extend to the horizon.

Noel... u just keep wonderin'...

jfk... yeah, a zeppelin... that must be what it is...

in the meantime... same sub, in Blitz...

to be honest, i can't get the same effect in Blitz... no real spec bumpmapping i guess...

Looks good Mike,

Are you useing a Normal map or having it generate the grayscale EMBM map on the fly?
