We just survived a near miss with an asteroid.

What makes me laugh is the human race (at least as recognisable as such) has gone for a million years happily not knowing or giving a toss, then in the century someone invents a telescope big enough to see "youranus" and sees big cunks of rock flying around.. that combined with a few cheesy hollywood blockbusters and everyone is convinced we are to be flattened at any second (maybe, but im not going to let it ruin my day) :D
