I like my smart car, except for two things.
1) The first one we received had an engine light problem as soon as we got home and it went into limp mode. The dealership took it back and shipped it back to the factory. Turned out it was one of about 10 they had had with defective workmanship. 3 months later we got a new one.
2) The new one had an engine light go on after 100 miles. This one had a bad computer chip which they fixed. Of course it was outside of the lemon law time so I couldn't just return the car. We didn't drive it over the holidays and our snow storm, so 3 months passed before we discovered this new problem.
I love the car. It's peppy, looks cool. And I feel comfortable driving it. But I think they are having some manufacturing problems with it.
