BlitzMax is the only one that has memory management, cross-platform compatibility, and multithreading (soon). It can make DLLs. There are still some annoyances and limitations, but I sort of think it is the best language in the world. Not just because I like it, but for real reasons. What do you think?
It has the threading stuff in there already and it works really well - its only in the dev/SVN version for now though - wish they'd finalise it and make it official.Best language in the world? That'd imply I'd used every language in the world in order to judge fairly. Can't think of anything I'd rather use right now, though - epecially when you stick a great IDE like Project Studio on the front of it.
