The mistake it's making which is the same as Vista, is that it's another version of Windows ;-)

Good joke, though. XD You may be interrested in this image I made a few months ago. ^_^

Erm... Sluggish boot times?? I've booted our Vista & XP machines side-by-side, and they come out neck & neck, give or take a few seconds either way. Shutdown's almost immediate too, as well as logons & logoffs.

Personally, I don't think there's anything WRONG with Vista, and I haven't experienced any of the major issues people were complaining about. Of course, we didn't get our Vista machine at the beginning, so it's probably SP 1 or 2 (is there a Vista SP 2?). The fault still ultimately lies with Microsoft, though; they released Vista while it was essentially still in Beta form, which, as any decent computer business person will tell you, is a MAJOR mistake for anything other than freeware or open-source stuff. All Microsoft needs to do this time is actually STABILIZE, FINALIZE and COMPLETE Windows 7 BEFORE launching it, and they'll have a decent product. Not that I'm hoping for anything big.
