I don't care if a game appears on pc yes/no even tho I don't have any newer console. If I want to play a FPS, there is still enough choice for me on the PC.
And people that are saying that consoles last longer than a pc..... Console versions of the same game are mostly twice that expensive as well. After 10 games you can buy that kickass new graphics card on the pc compared if you buy the same 10 titles on PS3.
Other then that I can choose the controller I like. I can choose if I want to dualstick or rather use keyboard and mouse, it gives me a lot more freedom. I even have the luxury of not swapping discs anymore with Steam. And on the PC I can play even the oldest games I bought for it, there is always some emulator available to make something run again.
But I see it as a good thing if the big brands leave PC and go Console. This gives all us programmers a better chance to make name in the PC game business.
