But its more likely due to that fact that people have already got the game if they wanted it , on there console and don't want to spend money again!

who buys the same thing twice if they can afford not to?
ive rebought alot of my vhs onto dvd but im buggered if im going to do the same on blu-ray or the next big thing untill they stop reading dvd's
but at the time i wouldnt have gone out looking for the betamax version too just cos we happend to have one knocking around
same as albums on cassette, why were they around?
sure if you had a walkman you could buy the album but most had the lp and having the lp negates the need to have the cassette version for portable and personal use
and when CD's came out people migrated their buying habbits from lp's to CD's consumers and publishers created this catch 22 of no one wants the lp so we'll stop making them
and consumers who wanted lps found them un available and thus had to buy the CD
and with console games costing what they do no one who owns a ps3 and a 360 is going to buy the same game twice for each system, so why expect them to buy the delayed if more tweaked pc version
if anything it will force people who were on the fence about consoles to pick a system just to play the pc games that no longer get developed
