I just spent $70 on the new Settlers, a Ubisoft title, and between the two ridiculous bugs (scrolling by moving to the screen edge stops working if a story character is on screen, and a hard crash is possible) and sheer boredom of the game, I only spent a few hours on it before giving up. Piracy might be a problem, but focusing on what you can control - the quality of your games - seems to be a better idea.
