My iPhone is probably the single nicest bit of kit I've bought in *years*.
When I first got it I thought the battery life was bad, but then I realised that's only because I had *everything* enabled all the time. Now I only have the gps & wifi enabled if I actually need them and it's no worse than any other smartphone (and I've owned plenty over the years).
