May as well add something vaguely sensible...
Resonant induction isn't a particularly new idea but, AFAIR, the real trick is keeping the two circuits constantly in tune. The article doesn't mention whether the lit bulb was being moved about as this is the real deal breaker. I do recall that the similar MIT demonstration, from last year, kept the bulb decidedly stationary.
