I think PC's are meant to run a variety of programs, including tools, games, and a variety of other types of software. Gaming Console's are only built for games. Another reason for the slowdown when trying to play realy complex or big games on pc's is that not only do they have to run the game, they also have to run the operating system and they are constantly communicating with the internet. If you could shut down your operating system temporarily to play a game (not recommended) then the game would be much faster, however this is not only not a good idea, but a VERY bad idea as It could crash your computer PERMANENTLY.
