Yeah. Only one I can think of that is actually scary is Vampire: The Masquerade.
Doom3, System Shock II (i can't remember if i got scared with SS1) and partly by HalfLife (whoever invented those headcrabs, i'll jump at you, if i ever meet you :O)).
