flintstones had the same running loop along the how long is their house in nigh on every episode where fred had to run, perhaps it was a deadline short cut as they might not have been as ahead as shows can be now
the backdrops were rough and sometimes unfinished, but it also added to the charm (well when your still a kid watching it against your adult self)
i dont want animation to turn into a clip art show with cut and paste animation, it would be the cartoon equivelant to the latter airwolf's and the story would be driven by what images they had already and not created to fit
