Grid is pretty rubbish as far as realism goes. It looks the part with nice hyper realistic graphics but the controls and realism is incredibly bad. I guess if you don't drive a real car you might like it.
Forza is good for a console game, but isn't a touch on any of the good PC games for realism and communicating the feel of driving, which is the most important thing in a sim.
GP Legends
GTR2
WTTC Race
RFactor
LFS
Are all much better sims than any console racer to date. Especially if you have more than just a simple rumble wheel.
Games I'm looking forward to on the PC are:
Empire: Total War (finaly has real tall ship combat :)
FarFry 2: I really liked the beginning of crysis and hope that far cry 2 will go for a more realistic setting. Crysis can't be beat for immersion, physics and having more realistic slower paced stealth and sniping gameplay. Shame the story sucked and the game got boring once you meet the aliens.
