..I dont believe that PC gaming going to end...however I think that M$ is major obstacle or better say, major reason why PC gaming eventually going to slow down a bit..messing with new OS versions and API's are not something what any serious developer like to see..what Carmack talking about is pretty much business point of view for ID and has nothing to do with Pc gaming death..fact that ID games are not that attractive to me as they are like bunch of walk 'n shot games out there...sure..lack of original ideas making them to spread over more platforms in order to gain more money, until they oversaturate other platforms with same crap year by year and then what?? Consoles will die because we cant sell same games again and again...I guess, its time for people with fresh ideas to take over, thats all...
