PC games are far from dead, why does this myth keep coming back when the numbers don't support it? This year is expected to be the biggest sales(in revenue) year yet! What I think Carmack is complaining about is competition is hurting his "old idea with new gfx" formula.

Crysis didn't sell well because the game wasn't very good, but the STALKER and The Witcher sold very well.
