How people can rate this as only 8/10 I can't quite comprehend. The quality of the experience is second to none.
Because they aren't looking for an experience. They're looking for a GAME. Metal Gear Solid is too much mix and match. Not a compelling (or non-ridiculous) story to work as a movie, not Interactive enough to qualify as a game.Add to that the controls, designed for a sneaking game, using in a game that is essentially a 3rd person shooter, and you're left with nothing like what most people expected (a killer must-have game for the PS3).
