Very bad suggestion to install Ubuntu on a 250 Mhz computer, even if it's the Ubuntu flavor. Some people say that Ubuntu is a good option for *old* machines, but it's simply not true. If by old we mean 5 years old, then it's fine, but for a machine older, the best options are DSL, Puppy, and TinyMe (my favourite).
