Loved RE4 myself, beat it completely, all the extra stuff and all that.
And I still play it.
It is pretty gory though, like when the dogs ripped out your ribcage etc.
And I guess most games could be good without blood and gore. But I think langauge is kinda important in some games.... Like, you wouldn't have a WW2 soldier walking up to an enemy and asking if he wants a cuppa tea.
But there should be a limit.
