Yeah- in 2-3 years a new crop of consoles will be out, which is where all the games are going to be because of a lack of a good market on the PC due to all the 'unsupportable' variations and crap.
Last I checked, compromise was usually seen as a good thing.
Hey- It's his engine, I wish him well. I was very interested in buying it. I just see development time and future sales better geared toward something that is more 'cutting edge' without cutting off it's userbase. 'Shiny' is great- 'green' is better.
