Sooo... I got the installation, the boot manager show 2 options, I select Ubuntu.... It starts booting up with the Ubuntu logo, then reboots the machine at the same area (from what I see on the progress bar) that what happened with the CD. So I'm sort of back to square one. But I'll check what options I may be able to change form the loader menu.
