2 things I forgot:
- The USB keyboard option in the bios was set as DISABLED !!! I rapidly changed this and Ubuntu's menu finally worked with the keyboard.
- All my drives are SATA (could be an issue)

Right now I'm installing a 30 GB Ubuntu partition from Windows, hopefully it should work.
