'Hey it's not harming anyone' - 'Kids can make choices too.' 'Define a kid?' ' Bringing adults and children closer together' etc.. Look what they did to the word 'love'? Total inversion from 'selflessness' to shameless 'selfishness' in the space of a single generation. Once the stigma is eroded and the boundaries of the law pushed even further into absurdity no doubt there will be 'cutter and pasters' on forums everywhere defending it.
We're all on a metaphorical barge right now, and it's slowly coasting towards an amoral whirlpool of horror - we have been for the past 50 years but so long as standards continue (as by plan) to deteriorate by stealth the self-anaesthetised have plenty of vapid ammunition for mockery and ridicule.
Distraction, innuendo, and even irreligious biblical finger pointing - all indicators of somebody without a justified, or even compelling argument for such violent tack and sleaze, yet nonetheless determined to defend their addiction to it, as well as trying to position themselves beyond reproach.
