Of course there is nothing wrong with this, use whatever pleases you but it just can get a bit weird if people keep on stating things which are just wrong, may it be because they don't know it better or for whatever reason. Beside of everyone's else subjective views such tools also have objective and measureable components like for instance how many triangles they can push and so on, so something like what's best is quite vaild when you're looking at features of a certain technology.
