I could not get 7.10 to work on my mac, the graphics were all screwed up and it just wouldn't boot into the desktop all the way. I went back to 7.04 and had absolutely no problems - all I did was install the basic libs required for blitzmax and then the libs required for ati hardware accelerated opengl.
