How do I set up my own web site

I like the look of Googles page creator,
http://pages.google.com/
But I'm kind of hesitant to use it since it's so new.
If they update it, or remake it, what will happen to my
WebPage since it's then using an older version?
If anyone has more information on there experience with Google Page Creator, I would certainly appreciate
your input.
