Should the rest just pack up and go home?
In my opinion it's the best thing out there and great to create games with. It has next gen graphics, great features ie gui, scripting, physics and the tools that also come with it are brilliant.
When comparing it to the other products out there nothing compares and i really think the gameobject and component system is great and the fact it's really simple once you get to grips with it.
I know their are tools out there that are similar but unity3d is in a league of its own in my opinion.
ps not trying to say it's perfect but having had a mess with it, it's a thing of beauty, now i need to wait for win version or get a mac :-(
