Ive got a problem. Vista has broken MinGW/GCC when using C++ projects on a fileserver! Its no longer posssible to compile on network drives! GCC must be installed on the same partition as the compile.
This is apparently a known problem on vista, some fault with the compiler not looking for its own libs properly or something, weirdly its not a problem on either XP or Ubuntu.
This probably explains my recent problems trying to build 3rd party MAX libs on vista.
Does anyone know of an alternative 100% GCC compatible free c++ compiler for windows vista that codeblocks supports and supports servers?
