Oh well, one of our horses came second in the national, never mind.
Anyways, tried running 20 clients over the LAN, simply did an ipconfig through the accessories DOS window, changed the following lines for the client to access the server, created appropriate rule in my firewall and worked well with 20 clients sending move requests to the server across my wireless LAN.
I did initially try using this:
http://www.blitzbasic.com/codearcs/codearcs.php?code=1821
however the site that is hosting the necessary lib for it seemed very creaky and slow..... hence resorting to the ipconfig. Worked well anyhow. (;-)
Next, create a graphical representation of players moving around a screen with respect to where the server reckons the x and y co-ords for each player are.
