So there's plenty of 3d but no 2d resources available? Just get the 3d, then do that thing where the 2d slides are made from 'screenshots' of the 3d image at different frames. I've seen a program that can do this before, and it's certainly not the only one. Before computers could handle pure 3d games comfortably, 2dised 3d spirtes were quite common.
