I also like TrueVision3D thanks to its straightforward and essential game architecture
Hoewever I am looking also for a world editor
Did you try Planetx map editor ?
I got the impression it is a little naif

Never used PowerRender but it seems good, tools included,
It should be also stable , I suppose, thanks to the long experience of the designer

The point is the comunity
The engine is not dead but nobody seems to visit the forum
Why ?
Just a poor marketing ?
Anybody using Power Render ?
