there is a forum for the devil engines on the site i showed you. anyway its most likely your graphics card. i have one that does that (intel onboard:( ) but on a different machine it workes perfect (nvidia:) ). try just the water from the example code and tell me the resaults. and send devils child an email he's very helpful.
