Quite a bit different, on two aspects:

- The sports show didn't *make* the crowdnoise, the crowd did, the sports program only recorded it. But if I'd have been in the same audience I could as well have recorded it myself. Heck I could even be standing with my mic next to the studio-mic. There's an obvious difference between unique music created by someone and crowdnoise made by a crowd who do something normal/human: cheering/yelling. (not to mention they don't care)
- There can't be a serious comparison to warez as warez are made to provide ppl official products leaving the creators of those products with zero $. Sampling the crowd noise doesn't mean sports programs and/or their broadcasters go bankrupt, they make their money with totally different means.

Just in case, I'm not condoning warez etc. but at some point I feel I can draw a line without feeling like a criminal. Can someone claim the rights to noise? Did someone claim PI? I think we should protect art and artistic performing, but should one protect someone who's simply yelling?
