How many would really walk into pc world and pay 100s of $ for a program which can do little more than the free alternatives
I use Word & Excel for basic wordprocessing of project documentations.
MS Word 2003 can do fancy stuff. I spent an hour figuring out OO Writer can can do the same. My area of investigation was: formatting tables, headings, text outline.
Then checked out OO Calc and it does formatting, sorting data, sumtotals. Perfect.
My verdict;
OO Writer (sometimes) screws up the Header-formatting, besides that its a perfect alternaitve to MS Office.
