Dunno if SVN version are stable enough for production, but I've start using it and no issues yet.
However the the MaxGUI in SVN has some little difference from the current sync one.
I use TortoiseSVN wich reduce most of the hassles of SVN, and it's not hard, taks 5 minutes and learn it worths a lot.
