OOP is the only way for many things, BUT when people start talking about supertypes and serializing/deserializing objects, you know they are full of sh*t.

My most complex hierarchy is like this:
TEntity
TLight Extends TEntity
TPointLight Extends TLight
TSpotLight Extends TLight
TDirectionalLight Extends TLight

Any programmer who gets more complicated than that is just masturbating on company time.
