one issue I had, was that the sound was VERY choppy. You are using BM audio I take it? I never had problem with choppy sounds in 3d/2d until I used blitzmax audio mod.
As for suggestions (although not that important since the game free), an interactive guide during gameplay at the beginning showing controls or tips would rock.
