I dunno, sepends how its done and what it is. For eg,(excluding his damn shoes) the placement in 'I robot' for the Audi were ok because it was a futuristic Audi that worked in the setting. It still advertised audi. This kind of thing wouldnt be too invasive i reckon.
As long as it does not get to the stage where "Illidan Stormrage 'The Demon Hunter'" is seen wearing nikes. I cant say it bothers me too much.
