I think my intentions were to say that most programmers (most, not all, especially indie developers) know that they wouldn't want the same done to their hard work so they tend to buy what they need (even source code). There are those that will 'try' something out and only buy it if they can make a commercial grade app using it. If they fail then they consider the investment null
