I would not quote that web page as a defense if the RIAA had me up on charges. I sure as heck would not argue the point using that moron's grasp of law against Disney's lawyers. Then again, I like the idea of staying out of prison.
Disney's grasp of the law would be exactly the same as "that moron's", which is why they'd bring a civil case of copyright infringement against you rather than having you arrested for theft. Nobody would use that article as a defence against such a copyright infringement charge because it doesn't make a single pro-piracy argument; It's pro-using-the-English-language-properly, and if you can't even be bothered to do that then you shouldn't be surprised when folk dismiss your words as idiotic. Use language accurately if you want to be taken seriously -- it really is very good advice, even if the author can't string two paragraphs together without swearing at you (Scottish, natch).

@Sledge Are you digressing that I am in fact, a ****ing idiot?
The word you're looking for is "suggesting" ("digressing" is when you go off on a tangent so perhaps you do need to buy a dictionary like the article suggests*) but no, I don't think you're any sort of idiot, just someone who is undermining his own position by making a schoolboy error -- something that leaves you prone to being cast as an idiot by a wily opponent.

Copyright infringement isn't stealing by definition -- they don't even come under the same spheres of law. Get this right when concocting anti-piracy rhetoric or else your argument will be easily dismissed, and that only helps the pirates.
