well..I'll tell ya one thing..here in Asia, pirate software is a common thing..actually there is a whole shopping malls, just and only for pirate software of any kind, including games..belive it or not but I was very surprised with things I saw...so far im the only person I know that buying licensed stuff...last weekend I spotted even Gamestudio A7, full version, for 2US$, as well as few other commercial stuff for game building...so, for me, its okay to buy let say 3DSMAX, pirated..then use it at home, for learning/mastering purpose, and after that, if im comfortable and projects supported, buy licensed version, what i did by the way..whatever case may be, I bet you guys will be surprised to see how many pirated things selling around..oh yes..I saw B3D too :)
