I have not had a problem with it. Then again I wouldn't go out and buy it, it just came with the new PC.
So far all of my old software works correctly and I have not had any major problems (the security quirks took some getting used to, but the same thing happened with XP)
That said, I'm hoping Linux gets a more friendly distro in the future, MS needs some competition to keep prices down - and to get the requirements to run the OS within reason...
