Hey, i'd call myself decent at programming in java, C++, and basic (like blitz), but when it comes to php and html, and website stuff in general, i suck.
So i'm trying to figure out here, i've got a hosting service, and 5 SQL databases.
how would i get some php source working?
at the moment, i used a FTP client to throw all the source files (from a website developer) on the disk... i think i'm suppost to do something with the SQL database now.. (currently staring at the admin panel)
i've tried to go to www.[mydomain].com/index.php and i tried www.[mydomain].com/page.php (one of them has to be the main source right?)
then i tried the plain www.[mydomain].com
still shows a blank page.
so can anyone point me in the right direction?
Edit- i'm waiting for the developer to help me, but i thought i'd toy with it a bit and try to figure it out myself, thats why i came here, see if you guys know alot about this, or if you're like me and don't know night from day.
