Adaware is good. Doesn't remove everything, but few spyware programs do.
Spybot is good too, and has a program called teatimer which checks any applications that edit the registry. Well, that's what i think it does :D
Erm, reanimator is good app, but requires alot of attention to make sure you don't remove the wrong thing.
