In the sense that I believe in objective reality, yes. The rest of it sounds like a bunch of bull.
Fair enough. Objectivism is interesting. Like you I accept some of it but reject the rest (as I do for Marxism), but it seems that we accept and reject different parts. I reject the notion of objective reality but I accept the concept of rational self-interest.
By the way, I'm not trying to antagonise you. Philosophy and ideology are particular interests of mine. I genuinely enjoy having discussions with people who hold very different opinions to my own. However, I'm sure that you can understand why I (being a somewhat "mixed race" person who is in a long term "mixed relationship") might find some of your comments distasteful?
It's simply evolution, and if you don't agree, you will shortly be replaced by someone who does.
And I think that this is our key difference of opinion. I don't have a nationalistic sentiment in my body. England is an inanimate object. A hunk of rock. I don't feel a sense of allegiance to it. I'm a big advocate of freedom of movement and open-borders. I personally won't be replaced, and I have no problem with who lives in or "takes over" my country of birth.
