who said i was making life difficult
90% of my co workers are polish and i get on with most i have regular contact with
some have a clique that actually alienates the english/non polish
all ive done is go up to someone and say
"supercalifragalisticexpialidotious spell it"
i did this twice in one week to the same girl even after saying "the answer is I T" the first time round she still wtf'd
i dont dumb down my english when i talk to people, one girl who left for a better job thanked me for that fact as she learnt more expressions than her time learning english at school before coming here
although one of my faves is a supervisor
shes half spanish/chinese
raised in the phillapeens (but no knowledge of telagog)
lived in the uk for 30+ years yet still talks like the hooker from full metal jacket(?)
i keep expecting her to say
"succy succy ten dollar
I love you plenty big time twenty dollar"
I myself lived abroad when i was an army brat
i moved back here when i was about 8 79/80 after my dad left the army and germany where he was stationed and my german as we didnt interact was slim
but if i spent 30 years abroad id hope to speak better than she does hell 10 of our ex polish workers spoke better english than i pretend to
